Mikayla Wildemoth

Mikayla Wildermoth is a dressage rider and full-time student at the University of Canterbury, studying Law and Finance.

She began riding around the age of three and started competing in the show ring on lead rein, achieving considerable success including Horse of the Year titles and competing successfully in Australia. While she has always trained with dressage coaches, her primary focus shifted fully to dressage around the age of 14.

Mikayla’s achievements include producing her current horse, Donnerock EH, from an unbroken two-year-old to National Preliminary High Points Winner (2022/23) and Horse of the Year Elementary Title Holder, as well as National Elementary High Points Winner (2023/24). She has also represented New Zealand as part of the NZ World Challenge Team.

She is proud to have the support of Equine America, whose products have been a staple in her feed room for many years. The Cortaflex SuperFenn is a key part of her team’s joint care, supporting horses from freshly backed three-year-olds to advanced competitors. Another favourite product is Appleytes, essential for maintaining hydration and replacing electrolytes during hard work or travel.
