Sponsored Rider Spotlight & Results

Our Equine America riders have been absolutely flying this season, and we couldn’t be prouder of the results they’ve been achieving across the country and internationally.

From elite showjumping arenas to top-level dressage championships, our riders continue to demonstrate the importance of great training, careful management, and the right nutritional support.

Here are just a few recent highlights:

Sophie Scott delivered an outstanding performance at the prestigious Takapoto Estate Classic, taking the win in the Gold Tour, a fantastic result at one of New Zealand’s premier showjumping events.

Bridie Quigley has been selected to represent New Zealand in Adelaide, an incredible achievement and a testament to her dedication and results this season. We’re extremely proud to support her on the international stage.

Emily Townsend had an exceptional show at the Bates Nationals, securing 1st place in the 2B class with an impressive score of 73.2%, and going on to place 3rd overall in the Open Championship.

Courtney Townsend also celebrated a fantastic result, taking the win in the Canterbury Equine Clinic 5 Year Old class aboard Alaska CSJ, showcasing the exciting future of this talented young horse.

Dani Mason had a brilliant week at the Takapoto Classic, finishing 2nd in the 1.25m Championship aboard Yalambis Enjoy Me, continuing her strong run of results this season.

Wendy Thomas put together a competitive and consistent barrel racing season, recording placings of 10th at Omarama, 13th at Canterbury, 15th at Mataura, and 10th at Waimate. In a discipline where placings are often separated by only fractions of a second, these results reflect just how competitive the field is nationally and highlight a strong season of close performances against quality competition.

Team Williamson (Waitekauri Farm) delivered an exceptional performance at the 2026 Bates National Dressage Championships, led by rider, coach and mentor Wendi Williamson.

Wendi achieved top results across three horses:

  • Don Vito MHGrand Prix Champion

  • Danseur MHReserve Champion Small Tour

  • Furst Klasse MHReserve Champion Medium Tour

Wendi and Don Vito MH secured their third consecutive Grand Prix title (2024–2026), adding another Burkner Medal to their collection—now just one behind the record.

They also claimed wins in the Grand Prix and Freestyle, scoring 72.73%.

“First show in nearly a year, so it felt a little rusty—but I was really pleased, especially scoring a 10 for our entrance and halt,” Wendi shared.

Seeing our riders achieve these milestones is incredibly rewarding, and we’re honoured that Equine America products play a small part in helping support their horses’ health, recovery, and performance.

Be sure to follow our social channels as we continue to share updates, rider stories and behind-the-scenes moments from our sponsored riders throughout the season.
