Sophie Scott

Sophie Scott is a 23-year-old full-time show jumping rider from Wellington, now based in Palmerston North at her purpose-built equestrian facility, Benrose Park.

Her career highlights include winning the prestigious NZ 2024 Horse of the Year Olympic Cup aboard Waitangi Skynet and placing 2nd with Benrose Stellar. Sophie also secured victory in the 2024 Silver Fern Stakes on Benrose Stellar, alongside a 2nd place finish with Waitangi Skynet. Other major results include:

Recognised as a future Olympian, Sophie has a passion for producing top performance horses for herself and her clients. Her team of competition horses ranges from youngsters through to seasoned World Cup competitors, where she continues to demonstrate consistency and success across Grand Prix, World Cup, and Age Group classes.
