With a lifelong passion for horses and a career spanning three countries, Alex brings a dynamic and global perspective to New Zealand’s equestrian community.

Raised between Singapore and Hong Kong, she was immersed in the world of polo, show jumping, and dressage from a young age. Her enthusiasm for the sport led to her becoming the youngest volunteer at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games — a defining experience that sparked her drive to contribute to the equestrian industry at the highest level.

Since moving to New Zealand in 2014, Alex has built a diverse and well-rounded skillset across the performance horse sector. Alongside her own show jumping journey, she has worked as a groom for top riders both in New Zealand and abroad, and gained extensive experience in breeding, foaling, and thoroughbred yearling preparation and sales. Her calm professionalism, strong horsemanship, and genuine care for horses have made her a trusted and respected presence in every stable she joins.

Alex’s five and a half years at Cambridge Grains further deepened her understanding of equine nutrition and supplement science, while strengthening her commitment to education-based customer support. She is passionate about helping riders choose products that genuinely improve the health, wellbeing, and performance of their horses.

Today, Alex proudly represents Equine America New Zealand — drawn to the brand’s science-led formulations, Clean Sport values, and proven results across all disciplines. She loves seeing the positive impact the right nutrition can make and is dedicated to supporting riders and retailers nationwide with enthusiasm, knowledge, and authenticity.
